Competitive Advantage, Core FAB, SWOT & Financial Analysis
All Strategic and Operational consulting services and advice we provide is underpinned by the four-building blocks:
- Understanding your current core business, core product service/mix and competitive advantages that need to be built upon and protected
- Defining and understanding your Functional Areas of Business (FAB), responsibility for those FABs and systems that ensure that the CEO or senior management are "across" the top 3 things that are powering or holding back the FAB. Depending upon the core business, FABs can include Manufacturing, Production, Service Delivery, Procurement and Supply Chain, Marketing, Sales, People Resources, Infrastructure Resources, Accounting & Finance, R&D, Business Development and Product Fulfilment.
- Continual review of your SWOT, so that you can develop strategies and operational systems to build upon your strengths, dilute or overcome your internal weaknesses, leverage external opportunities and mitigate external threats
- The fourth building block to help you "master the wheel," ensuring it rolls smoothly towards your target with momentum and minimal wobbles, involves the development and enhancement of strategies, systems, processes, and resources. These must be backed by thorough commercial "number crunching" financial analysis to guarantee the creation of both financial wealth and legacy wealth from these improvements. For instance, a product feature improvement that reduces your margin, increases your overhead, and doesn't at least enhance medium-term market penetration is not a true improvement. Instead, it's merely the tail wagging the dog or ego-driven strategy and operations.

32 Years Experience
Evahan founder, Jason Bresnehan, has been providing assistance to individuals, companies, and organizations in improving their strategy, and operational systems, processes and resources for 32 years. Jason commenced his career in Charted or CPA accounting firms but moved on after five years because his entrepreneurial instincts made him a "square peg in a round hole". Jason leveraged his number crunching experience into consulting, banking, corporate advisory, venture capital, insolvencies and reconstructions, running a family office of a high-net-worth family with assets in agriculture, forestry, recycling and property. Between 2015 and 2021 Jason performed a contract COO/CFO role of a group of companies operating cross border multi-business divisions in the manufacturing and tourism sectors. Now Jason devotes significant energy to helping businesses with designing, implementing and refining their quality management systems and the continual improvement of their core Functional Areas of Business (FAB). He also assists clients with some of the "boring stuff", like helping them get their audited financial statements over the line and keeping their bankers happy with annual banking review responses and collating documentation and articulating strategy to support debt finance applications. Jason also looks after the Bresnehan Family Office interests and seed investing in ideas that interest him.
Evahan's experience extends to 13 Industry Sectors across 28 market segments. Our industry and sector experience is summarized here.
