Responsibilities included initial deal assessment, due dilligence, seed funding, Series A and Series B investments, as well as providing oversight and non-executive guidance to investee companies.
     
  • 3 Years – CEO, Australia/USA: Led a venture capital-backed early-stage technology company developing point-of-sale solutions for managing and dispensing frozen and refrigerated biological reagents in the global life sciences sector.
     
  • 6 Months – CEO, CSIRO-owned private company: Developed enterprise search software applications.
     
  • 4 Years – COO/CFO, Australia: Managed a high-net-worth family office with operational businesses and assets in mixed grazing and cropping farming, plantation and native forestry, recycling, and residential and commercial property.
     
  • 1 Year – General Manager, Australia: Oversaw operations of a high-net-worth family-owned cotton farm subjected to multi-million-dollar fraud by a co-owner, on behalf of a Liquidator.
     
  • 6 Years – COO/CFO, Australia/Thailand: Spearheaded Operations and Finance of a manufacturing company specializing in hydraulic cylinders, hose assemblies, manifolds, and related parts for global OEMs across various sectors, including defense, earthmoving, oil & gas exploration, materials handling, mining, shipbuilding, and transport. The company also owned assets in tourism, hospitality, property, beverage manufacturing, motorsport, and software. Jason's role as COO/CFO extended to overseeing these diverse businesses and entities as well.
