Mangement of the Full Cycle of Venture Capital Portfolio Investing

Momentum Ventures is a Melbourne based venture capital fund investing in early-stage Australian technology companies pursuing USA and global markets.

Jason Bresnehan has been contracted to Momentum Ventures to provide Venture Capital Investment Management Services for a five-year term.

As an interim contract Invesment Manager of early-stage technology venture capital fund Momentum Ventures, Jason will be involved in the full cycle of venture capital investing:

  • Initial Deal Assessment
     
  • Due Diligence of market and industry, key people, business model and operations underpinned by the preparation of detailed financial modelling including cashflow and P&L budgets or forecasts with supporting income and expense schedules and key assumption drivers
     
  • Tranche based seed, Series A and Series B investment
     
  • Entity structuring, including the development of Shareholder Agreements with ratchet clauses and other investor claw-back protections
     
  • Board representation with investee portfolio companies
     
  • Assisting the CEO and other senior management of portfolio companies with business development and follow up Series B or Series C rounds
     
  • Assisting the CEO and other senior management of portfolio companies with M&A, trade sale and growth opportunities and exit opportunities
     
  • Portfolio company reporting to Venture Capital Funds board and regulatory authorities.
