27 Element QMS Framework
Managing Director and Principal Consultant of Evahan, Jason Bresnahan, has developed a proprietary 27 element framework to facilitate the Design, Development, Documentation, Implementation, Evaluation, Certification Management and Continuous Improvement of a Quality Management System (QMS).  The framework is used to:

  1. Design, develop, document, implement and evaluate clients' QMS
  2. Prepare clients for their inaugural ISO 9001 Certification or recertification of their QMSs
  3. Implement and manage a program to continually improve their QMS

The 27 Elements
Each framework element contains sub-elements, over 150 in total, which are used as an assessment checklist to underscore rigorous analysis of the business and drive the Design, Development, Documentation, Implementation, Evaluation, Certification management and Continuous Improvement (DDIECCI) of a QMS that:

  1. is line with the company's strategically formulated and competitive advantage
  2. is based on risk-based thinking
  3. incorporates quality gates and the measurement, monitoring and analysis of key processes and activities
  4. promotes a culture of learning and critical thinking that celebrates nonconformances and continuous improvements underpinned by root cause analysis and the challenge question of "but why?"
  5. interacts seamlessly across the company's functional areas of business such as marketing, sales, procurement, engineering deign, production and service delivery, manufacturing, service delivery, dispatch and management review
  6. leads to outputted products and services that exceed customers expectation, reduces waste, decreases costs and increases profit

Scope, Gap Analysis and QMS Development & Implementation
The 27 Element QMS Framework consisting of over 150 analysis and action point checks and action prompts is applied to client engagements to:

  1. Scope - assess and investigate the size of the project and provide a fixed price services fee proposal setting out Evahan's approach
     
  2. Undertake Gap Analysis - analyze existing working flow, quality systems and quality gates so that they could be leveraged to avoid "reinventing the wheel" and reduce project costs by focusing on closing the gaps and making value-adding improvements
