Evahan Assists Delta Hydraulics Thailand with the Inaugural ISO 9001 Certification of its QMS

Jason Bresnehan assisted Delta Hydraulics Thailand in achieving its inaugural ISO 9001 certification for its Quality Management System (QMS). Delta Hydraulics Thailand manufactures hydraulic cylinders for underground mining wheel loaders and dump trucks, jacking cylinders for the oil and gas exploration sector, and telescopic cylinders for material handling applications in bulk food transport.

Delta Thailand supplies Caterpillar Thailand's underground hard rock mining machine OEM division with steer, lift, and tilt cylinders for its range of wheel loaders and dump trucks. Located in Rayong, Thailand, Delta Hydraulics is strategically positioned opposite Caterpillar's two OEM plants, enabling Just-in-Time (JIT) delivery to both the dump truck and loader production lines, as well as to Caterpillar's service parts distribution center in Singapore.

Evahan's Managing Director and Principal Consultant, Jason Bresnehan, guided Delta's senior management and engineering team through Evahan's proprietary 27 Element QMS Framework to design, develop, document, implement, evaluate, certify, and continuously improve (DDDEICCI) its ISO 9001 certified QMS from the ground up.

Numerous challenges were faced during this process, including overcoming the language barrier of implementing an English-language QMS in Thailand, with Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions provided in Thai where necessary.
