Project Managed: Design and Development of a Cloud-Based ERP System

Jason spearheaded the creation of a customized cloud-based ERP system, designed to manage workflow, distribution, and finance for Delta Hydraulics Thailand’s hose assembly division. He personally recruited and led a skilled software engineer for this project.

The completed ERP system incorporated:

• Demand Planning: Integrated with Caterpillar's MRC demand planning (pull) system, enabling sophisticated data querying and scenario analysis of this extensive data set.
• Inventory Management: Tracked and managed inventory levels, orders, and deliveries.
• Production Management: Oversaw the production process, including scheduling, planning, and job tickets—all managed with a single click.
• Quality Control: Ensured products met quality standards through rigorous inspections and testing.
• Supply Chain Management: Managed the flow of materials and products from suppliers to customers.
• Purchasing: Handled procurement of materials and services.
• Sales Order Management: Processed sales orders from Caterpillar's Excel-based KANBAN pull signals.
• Just-in-Time Fulfillment: Enabled one-click production of sales invoices, advanced shipping notices, and point-of-use (POU) packing slips on trollies, wheeled into position on the assembly floor.
• Financial Management: Integrated sales invoicing with QuickBooks Online (one-click).
• Business Intelligence: Provided data analysis and reporting to support decision-making, such as materials shortfall forecasting

The system transformed Delta Hoses division from a start-up without Caterpillar supplier credentials to achieving SQEP Platinum (the highest) level within just 18 months. The Delta Hoses ERP system stands out as one of the most sophisticated hydraulic hose ERP systems in the entire Caterpillar global supplier network.
