ISO 9001 Recertification of AJL Marine's QMS

Evahan Assists AJL Marine Servies with the ISO 9001 Recrtification of its QMS

Evahan assisted the Melbourne based company, AJL Marine Services, with the recertification of ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS) across its three shipping services locations in Truganina and Port Melbourne Victoria and Devonport, Tasmania. AJL Marine Services provides three main services:

1. Programmed refurbishment and rapid changeover (less than 12 hours) of The Spirt of Tasmania I and Sprit of Tasmania II passenger and freight ferries owned by TT Line, a Government Business Unit (GBE) of the Tasmanian Government
2. Programmed paint Maintenace for a multi-national's Bass Strait cargo shipping fleet
3. Customized reactive repairs including marine class welding repairs for Australian and internationally flagged ships in Ports across Australia's eastern seaboard

Evahan Managing Director and Principal Consultant, Jason Bresnehan, led AJL's senior management team through Evahan's propriety 27 Element QMS Framework to:

1. Undertake and Internal Audit of the company's "QMS as a Whole"
2. Close gaps identified as non-conformances from the Internal Audit
3. Attended AJL locations on the day of the external auditor assessment and assisted with responses to the external auditor where appropriate.

The 27 Element QMS Framework consisting of over 150 analysis and action points checks was utilised.
