Financial Audit Complete for Delta Hydraulics (Thailand) Ltd
Jason Bresnehan provided overseeing and liaison services enabling Delta Hydraulics (Thailand) Ltd to finalise its 2015 Financial Audit

On behalf of Delta Hydraulics, Evahan prepared a grant application to Ausindustry's Job Investment Fund to contribute to the funding to purchase, install, and train relevant machine operators in the technical operation of Australia's most advanced skiving and burnishing machine that is capable of processing a cylinder tube with an inner diameter of 500mm and a length of up to 9 meters. Currently, Delta's capacity is limited to the production of cylinders with an inner diameter of 300mm and a length of 7 meters.
The planned outcomes of the project are two-fold:
This machine not only meets our inner diameter and length requirements, but the machine also rotates the workpiece (metal tube) in the opposite direction to the tool head containing the skiving knives and burnishing rollers. In traditional skiving and burnishing machines, the workpiece (metal tube) is fixed in place, and momentum generated by the tool head makes it want to rise to the top of the tube, leaving a lip at the bottom of the tube. By rotating the workpiece (metal tube) and tool head reversely, forces are counterbalanced, and the honed bore is in the exact center of the tube. It will be the largest machine in Australia with this dual-reverse rotation feature and is critical for meeting the quality specifications of customers
The application included a Business Plan supported by a detailed Financial Model with market penetration forecasts, cashflow forecasts and RIO calculations.
The application addressed the assessment criteria, specifically:
